Valdelacierva Garnacha 2016, from Bodegas Valdelacierva, achieves in its first vintage being part of the Parker Club with 90 points. The wine is an edition of 1997 elaborated bottles of a single farm: “la Pedriza” located in Tudelilla (Rioja Baja) and with only one variety: Garnacha. The line of work that Hispanobodegas wineries began several years ago aims to work in two lines in the development of their wines; one that meets the expectations of consumers seeking wines easy to drink, without complications, and another more special line of wines that are born from the terroir, with microvinifications in bocoyes to be able to make wines by farms and aging in French oak. In this way, only the small productions that each year gives the land come to the market. This is how Valdelacierva Garnacha was born, which, by its very essence, arises from Finca la Pedriza with unique characteristics and with a harvest that starts in the field and later in the winery, grows as wine.
