 Since its foundation D.O. 5 HISPANOBODEGAS, has followed a strict quality and safety policy with respect to the wines it produces and markets. When we talk about quality (*) we mean the quality of everything to do with our porducts as well as with the services we provide our customers, with our realtionship with our suppliers and, in general, with the efficiency of our production and management processes.

Certifications:
D.O.5 Hispanobodegas produces and markets its wines under the D.O.’s (Denominaciones de Origen) of Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda and Mancha. All our wineries and marketing systems have been awarded with the following certificates:
UNE-EN-ISO 9001: Quality and Traceability Certification which guarantees that our wineries and marketing systems, have the management systems they need in place to ensure overall quality. This is only achieved by the rigorous and exhaustive control of our production and marketing processes, by not only satisfying our customers, but also raising their expectations and by continuously improving our processes, products and services.
BRC (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard) Certificates, which guarantee the food safety of our products. These certificates are only obtained following a highly-demanding audit; the starting point of which is being in possession of the ISO 9001 Certificate, with different food safety controls being added as required.

Quality Management:
 The Denominaciones de Origen under which our products are marketed, guarantee the origin and quality of the raw materials and the adaptation of the end product to their regulations.- Long Term contracts with the wine growers of each region, guarantee the quality and uniformity of the raw materials enabling us to actively intervene in grape growing and winemaking processes.
- Our highly-qualified Quality Department guarantees the quality of our product during each phase of the production process.
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Protocol which guarantees the quality and safety of our products during each of the critical phases of the production process.
- Traceability Programmes with respect to our products and raw materials, thereby enabling these to be controlled at any point throughout the process, from the raw material stage to putting the product on the market.
- Marketing procedures and incidents management, which guarantee the transparency of our relations with our customers and the correct management of problems related to product and management quality.
- Logistics: Logistics operator with ISO Quality and Food Safety Registration certificates ensure capacity to transport merchandise in mainland Spain and Portugal within 24-48 hours under perfect temperature and storage conditions.
- Workforce: Highly thorough in complying with and totally committed to the Group’s quality, food safety, environmental, hygiene and professional ethics objectives.
