At the 31st edition of the international competition which took place on Saturday April 21st 2007 in Bourg-sur-Gironde (Bordeaux).

Doce Linajes Reserva 2001, Bronze Medal at the prestigious “Challenge International du vin”

Once again, with 31 contests behind their backs, between 800 and 1,000 professional tasters gathered in Bordeaux on April 21st to judge more than 5,200 wine samples coming from 38 different countries. Only between 25% and 30% would be eligible to obtain a medal and D.O.5 Hispanobodegas’ challenge was to send its top crafting from D.O. Ribera de Duero, Doce Linajes Reserva 2001, to assess its true potential. The aim of the Group is to be known by means of presenting its wines to the most stringent, independent and reputed tasting panels and competitions so as to continue improving on a daily basis.

At the 2007 edition and within the category “Reserva” from Ribera de Duero, only 2 Silver and 4 Bronze medals have been awarded. A personal worth we share with the old Castillian Province of Soria, its vineyards and people.
