Set up in 1972 under the name of Cooperativa Comarcal San José Obrero, the bodega participated in the making of the Appellation of Origin being the only one pertaining to the Old Castillian province of Soria. At Viñedos y Bodegas Gormaz, now fully privatised, we draw grapes from over 600 hectares of contract-linked vineyards where the variety Tinta Fina (aka Tempranillo) prevails. Average age of vines is 45 years old. We craft expressive young and aged red wines, the pride of this beautiful land.
